Day to Day Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrive and overnight in Ushuaia - Day 2
After breakfast, spend a leisurely morning exploring Ushuaia. If you’d like, join an afternoon catamaran cruise along the Beagle Channel to see the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, passing the Bridges Archipelago to observe sea lions and cormorants basking on rocks, along with sightings of seabirds. Alternatively, enjoy free time in town before meeting for transfer to the pier for embarkation. - Day 3
As you begin your journey across the South Atlantic toward the Falklands~Malvinas, settle into the ship’s rhythm. The expedition team will prepare you with essential wildlife guidelines, biosecurity procedures, and informative lectures about the region’s history, wildlife, and environment. Your wildlife experience starts right on board, where you can watch and photograph seabirds, including albatrosses and giant petrels, gracefully riding the air currents created by the vessel. - Day 4
Explore the Falklands~Malvinas archipelago with its striking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and British charm. Your expert expedition team will guide you to scenic landing sites, where you can cruise in Zodiacs along cliffs and coves, spot seals, dolphins, and penguins, or even enjoy tea in a local cottage. Experience Stanley’s cozy cafes, colorful buildings, and historic sites, including the fascinating Historic Dockyard Museum. Optional adventures like a polar plunge add excitement, making each day a unique exploration based on the weather and wildlife conditions. - Days 5 - 6
As you spend 2 days at sea traveling between the Falklands~Malvinas and South Georgia, you'll be captivated by the constant flight of seabirds trailing and circling around the ship. - Day 7
Your approach to South Georgia depends on sea and weather conditions. As you near this rugged island, imagine Captain James Cook’s amazement when he thought it was the northern tip of a vast continent back in 1775. Though small, South Georgia’s towering peaks, immense wildlife colonies, and rich history make it an unforgettable destination. Jagged mountain peaks and seabirds circling the ship add to the scenery, and if time and weather allow, you may even pass close to the fascinating Shag Rocks along the way. - Day 8 - 11
Your expedition team will craft each day’s itinerary based on weather, sea conditions, and wildlife sightings. Dress warmly for Zodiac excursions to explore rocky coves, look for nesting penguins, or glide over mesmerizing kelp forests. Ashore, you’ll see vast king penguin colonies, fur seals, and remnants of historic whaling stations. A stop at Sir Ernest Shackleton’s gravesite may also be included. Between excursions, enjoy panoramic views from the ship’s observation lounge or bridge, where you can take in South Georgia’s dramatic fjords and glaciers. - Day 12

Attend informative lectures to learn about Antarctica as you sail across the Scotia Sea towards the white continent. - Day 15 - 18
As you journey to the Peninsula, weather permitting, you might trace the coastline of Elephant Island, a half-submerged mountain shrouded in ice. Arriving in Antarctica is unforgettable—spotting your first iceberg and breathing in the crisp air is an experience to cherish.
Once you arrive, you’ll have nearly 24 hours of daylight to explore the western Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands. Dress warmly for Zodiac cruises along stunning ice cliffs and to visit penguin rookeries, historic huts, and breathtaking vantage points. - Day 19
As you approach Frei Base on King George Island, it's time to say farewell to Antarctica and reflect on your incredible adventure before boarding your flight to Punta Arenas, Chile, which will take approximately one hour and forty-five minutes. - Day 20
Depart Punta Arenas and bid a fond farewell to your fellow travelers as you continue your onward journeys.
